“UnChurch”
For most people, Church has become a negative term. More importantly, it is seen by many as an ancient and irrelevant institution. The “UnChurch” series is designed to address some of the issues people have with church, and to challenge us to look for ways to reengage the world we are called to serve.
June 7- “Don’t Judge Me!”
One of the chief criticisms of the church is that we are judgmental. How do we balance speaking truth and accepting people where they are?
June 14- “Christian for a Day”
“The church is full of hypocrites.” We’ve all heard it. Are we feeding that perception?
June 21 - “Don’t You Want Somebody to Love?”
Everyone needs relationships. The church that fosters relationships is the church that grows. How can we foster healthy loving relationships with God and each other?
June 28 - “Get Real”
In a world where there is more style than substance, people are starving for authenticity. Being genuine with one another must be one of the prominent marks of the church if we intend to reach others with the love of Christ.
