Action Ministries Augusta

Formerly known as Augusta Urban Ministries, the mission of this outreach is to serve those who are in need throughout the CSRA.  Their efforts include a furniture bank, clothing pantry, transitional housing, and many programs designed to help families become more stable and self-sufficient.  Covenant’s support of this ministry is primarily through the White Christmas program (providing gifts and meals for Christmas) and the COATS ministry (collecting winter wear to distribute to the homeless.)

 

White Christmas Update:  This year we adopted 31 children through the AMA White Christmas Program.  Families at Covenant provided gifts for children who live in poverty and have volunteered through the unloading, sorting, and distribution efforts.
