Unity and Logo.jpg

As it says in our name – 'Unity in Music Conference’, we have an overriding message that we want to disseminate with all participants of UMC and beyond. That message is UNITY!  Unity of people no matter how different we are, what we believe, how we live our lives, or even who we are as people. As humans, there is more that unites us than divides us and we need to make that a conscience priority in our actions towards others.

We believe that music along with film, art, sports and entertainment are some of the core and fundamental segments of our society that can and do bring people together.  In this tumultuous time we are living in, we feel it is more important and vital than ever to come together as an industry to help exalt and lead by example the message of unity to the rest of our country and the world.  We literally have a massive and wide-reaching stage and microphone to the public and we feel we should use it to help bring people together.  Our industry needs to work collectively with one voice to share this message.

That is why UMC has partnered with several non-profit organizations on a national, regional and local level to help activate our voice and promote these organizations that are making a difference in the world today to achieve this goal of unity.  A portion of event’s revenues will go to support these worthy groups and this most worthwhile cause.

UMC hopes all of you will join us in this mission of leveraging our abilities and gifts to bring unity to our world through our reach and audience, one show, song and person at a time.

The Venue

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) was established in 1971 to oversee the development of an international trade and exhibition center in Atlanta that today is known as the Georgia World Congress Center. Along with the convention center, GWCCA’s ever-evolving campus spans 220-plus acres and includes Centennial Olympic Park, the lasting legacy of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United and, opening in 2022, GWCCA’s headquarter hotel Signia by Hilton.

The Authority, a self-sustained state agency, is entrusted as stewards of these state-owned assets, and has invested more than $360 million over the last decade to improve connectivity between its facilities and downtown Atlanta’s surrounding hospitality district.

A key driver for Georgia’s economy, the GWCCA is a catalyst for development, tourism, commercial and residential growth, and a major job creator and sustainer.
